What is SHINE?
SHINE (Serving the Health Information Needs of Elders) is a state health insurance assistance program that provides free health insurance information, counseling and assistance to Massachusetts residents with Medicare and their caregivers. The SHINE Program is administered by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs in partnership with elder services agencies. For more information visit the SHINE website.
About SHINE Counselors
SHINE Counselors are certified by the Executive Office of Elder Affairs and are located at councils on aging and senior centers throughout Massachusetts. To schedule an appointment with a SHINE Counselor or to become a SHINE Counselor call 1-800-AGE-INFO (1-800-243-4636) and press #3.
